Build a healthy yogic habit: a 1 week challenge

Commit to practicing even just ONE round of a half sun salutation every day for a week and see if you reap any benefits from creating and sticking to a ritual.

Why this sequence?

  • Does not require a mat or lots of space - therefore can be practiced literally anywhere

  • Easy to remember, nothing over complicated

  • Taps into whole body from head to toe

  • Requires breath awareness which engages the parasympathetic nervous system, immediately calming our stress response

  • Once memorised and the movement becomes second nature, can be experienced as a form of meditation

  • Promotes self inquiry - because it's the same steps every time, the sequence serves as a familiar, safe landing pad to check in with yourself, offers perspective and enhances your ability to pay attention to detail and subtle differences in the body, mind and mood

  • Teaches us a sustainable and gentle form of discipline
